Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a student and four others for suspected drug trafficking. They were caught at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos over unlawful possession of 10.255kgs of narcotics hidden in garri (West African food made from cassava) and luggage. Two of the drug suspects were coming from Brazil with cocaine wile three others were going to South Africa, Dubai and Pakistan when they were arrested.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects ─ Blessing Gabriel, 25; Precious Ejiro-Owoh, 29; Rose Gabriel, 25; Priscilla Bassey, 33; and 38-year-old Terry Smooth ─ were apprehended by the agency on September 8, 2015, while one of their victims, identified only as Ann, had been rescued.

Mrs. Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buharilast night paid condolence visit to Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo over the death of Chief Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo.
Chief H.I.D Awolowo was the grandmother of Mrs. Osinbajo.
Mrs Awolowo died on Saturday, September 19 at the age of 99. According to sources, she died peacefully in her sleep.

A retired police officer has hinted that Tupac might still be alive.
David Myers, who is in a critical medical condition in hospital, claims he was paid $1.5 million to help the star fake his own death.
Tupac Shakur, or 2Pac as he was known on stage, died after he was hit in a drive-by shooting back in 1996 when he was just 25.
But Myers says he now wants the world to know the truth and from his death bed – he said: “The world needs to know what I did. I’m ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know.”
